Only in America

So I know it's been forever since I posted. Partly it is because I had no internet service for a while, I got sick and tired of dealing with Comcast and disconnected before I had other service, but mostly it has been because I have been busy being a mom to not one but two and a six year old boy. What a difference there is between a 6 year old boy and 11 year old girl!!!! My goodness does he have a lot of energy. So E's English is coming right along.
Everything used to be police Makeenas now we have V va Vans, SUV, Trucks, Busses, tractors, Doctor van Taxi's. We went up to a parade a few hours a way and Roma had already gone with her auntie. Oh my goodness 2 straight hours of talk about cars. I didn't know with such a limited vocab you could talk that much. We had Yummy cars and on the freeway mom's car was lightning Mcqueen. He was very upset that I wasn't Mcqueeen on the city roads. Then we had oh wow mom Elias big, Elias car. He liked the vet and the convertable. Then there were house cars and big trucks, school busses, Americana Bus, and just learning city busses.

He had a great time at the parade Only in America can you yell candy or chocolate and the passing cars will throw you candy. Pics a video to com. Well again it is late and my bed time. So just know things are well and more updates soon.

I used to do the when I was a kid in my country. During the parade, the reigning queen and other runner ups would parade on their festive floats and showers the selective crowds with candies! I am so happy to see that they do this in your area! Cool stuff!

By the way, I also read you left Comcast. I work for Comcast. If there is anything I can do to get you back as a Comcast customer, please let me know.

soooo cute. How magical... shout "candy" and you're showered with it. Sounds like he's doing great with his English. My kids learned so fast, too. You'll be stunned at what they learn... it's been 9 months for us and I'd call my kids fluent, without a doubt. Mine are 6 right now, just like your boy.
