still waiting for everthing!!!

So I apologize for not blogging lately.

I am still waiting for my computer to be fixed. It's a school computer so they are on their own schedule. My computer at home (That I am using as I type) is well about ten years old so you can imagine how slow it is and I am not going to even begin trying to upload any pics. So I have kinda been sticking to a few sentences here and there on facebook.

I am still waiting on a court date for little brother. There has been some difficulty getting the proper paperwork in order. The orphanage that LB is at does not typically do lot of adoptions. So they do not get all the necessary paperwork for court done right away. They leave it open so they can get additional funding for schooling. I think the funding that they get for orphans being adopted is different than the funding they get for community kids. Still not quite sure how it all works. But even with all that being said They have known I was going to adopt him since June. Our agency rep in country went over last week to speak with the Director and staff and local authorities to see if he could get things straightened out. The result was that we were promised the paperwork in six weeks. I am hoping and praying that once they get it rolling that it will actually happen faster than that. I would really like to travel to pick him up um this year would be nice.

Still waiting for Roma's leg to heal. She's been having more pain from putting weight on it and now I've banned her to a wheel chair for school.(the perks of working at a special needs school you have all kinds of equipment at your disposal.

Still waiting for more wishes for little brother's hundred wishes quilt. I think we are up to 63 wishes now. Thanks Carol for the fun turtle square and wish today. The school has already started sewing the squares together and as soon as I get my computer back I'll take pics it's so much fun.

Other news.
Little brother is no longer waiting to get his care package. He received it along with pics of us and our house etc.. This last week. When asked what he thought about coming to America he said Ok just wait till I finish my food (IV bag with meds) and I'll be ready to go. He really enjoyed the little match box cars in the care package too. It was kinda heartbreaking to have him in the hospital and not be able to be with him. Both of my children were in the Hospital last week and as I sat with Roma and imagined how scary it would have been for her not to have mom there, I prayed for LB that he would be comforted. Good news about his hospital stay is he was tested for Malaria TB and Hep C. Thank you Jesus that all the test came back Neg. They ended up giving him a broad spectrum antibiotic that managed to work. He got to spend the week with the orphanage director (I guess that's what you would call her) who gave me all kinds of info and pics to come. (unfortunately I won't be able to post the pics til I pass court and have my computer back. Thank you Pam for all the updates and loving you gave to him.

Roma's no longer waiting for long hair. I learned to do cornrows finally. The tip is always go under and only pull hair from one side The right I think. So after I did the corn rolls I actually sewed in the extensions. The microbraid ones. They say it's supposed to last three months. I wish I could upload a pic. It looks pretty good. I hope she doesn't play with her hair in school like she did in church this morning. It is down almost to her but and I told her if she gets in trouble for playing with it at school we'll have to cut it shorter. It ended up taking about six packs of hair and between 4-6 hours. We had a lot of breaks so I don't know exactly.

Anyway now your up to date. When I get my computer back I promise more pics and more regular post.

It's crazy. I'm sure if anyone can understand it would be you Jenny as it seems like your journey was almost never ending. I think I've kinda gone in to shut down mode. I almost don't want to talk about anything until they have some good hard date of when this is gonna happen.
