I love you Grandma

I just learned my dear sweet grandma passed away. She was the best grandma anyone could ever have. She treated each grandchild as if they were her favorite. Each summer she would have us take turns to come and stay with her and would spoil us rotten. I loved her dearly. Even in her older days, when we lived in Vegas and Mesquite and would go to visit her in the rest home we had some good times. When I would reintroduce Roma to her each time we'd visit she would say that's my name too and she would tell the story of how she got her name. She was so happy that her name would continue to live on. Also we quite enjoyed the funny things that she would say. Funny but always sweet. She would tell Roma how she loved the spoons (Braids) in her hair. Also she would ask her if her hair was naturally curly or if she had a perm. Grandma was also a singer. She sang all the time. She had a song for everything. My Dad took right after her in that way. A song just brings such a joy to life and that is one thing she had was joy. Joy in the littlest things. This last Christmas we brought her this little snowman that said Joy, on it and she decided that must be her name and she just took so much joy out of that little snowman. Grandma I love you.
