Recognize that you are an integral part of your family’s future success and they yours. Let them know today your desire to be included in there decisions and include them in yours, seek one another’s perspective and counsel when possible. If you have ignored their input in the past, admit your oversight and ask them to forgive you.
Although love must be willing to act alone if necessary, it is always better when it is not just a solo performance. Love can function on its own if there is no other way, but there is a “more excellent way” (1 Corinthians 12:31).
Roma is the one that brings me back to being rational. Sometimes I get out of control having crazy irrational expectations and Roma is the one that brings me back to reality. Elias is the rememberer. He remembers everyone, everything that is going on and everybody's cars. We can be driving and he'll say so and so is at the commissary. He also reminds of of anywhere we need to be.
